Excellent app

The production manager overseeing this app really nailed it. One of the best apps for hotels out there. Cant believe it is free. Hats off to J.P. Great job.

Very Slick Application!

The Fairmont Hotels & Resort application is very easy to use and has a slick user interface. It isnt cumbersome, operating quickly on my iPhone 3G, and is easy to use. I have tried a number of applications to search for resort information; this application has pleasant styling, stable, and offers a great user experience. The application is nearly as well appointed as a Fairmont resort. Ill be keeping this app on my iPhone!

Mixed feelings

Love the initial version... But hope it gets better as well. None of the buttons look that good on the iPhone 4s retina display. Also, I wish there was a way to redeem travel certificates straight from my presidents club account.

I hate that it doesnt remember my login information so I have to type it in every time. This app doesnt do anything really. It could give you a map of the hotel or show you where things are like the fitness center, restaurants, etc... Or Maybe place room service orders in advance ... Just doesnt seem like a very useful app plus its really slow ....

Amazingly poor experience (fuzzy graphics, slow performance, cant remember login) for such a high end hotel brand.

Issue

It keeps asking me to update the app !! I just downloaded the latest one availsble !!!

Wont stay logged in

Stunning visually, but app will not stay logged in. Please fix. 4 to 5 stars otherwise.

Needs work

I like it when the app feels like an app, not a website. Needs to stay logged in. Hate having to enter pass all the time. I have my screen locked for a reason. Would like easier ability to find partner hotels, which should also improve the sense of reach for fairmont. Corporate codes could be useful to enter in our profiles as well. Decent first few steps though. Could use some revamping.

Needs Passbook integration

Make Presidents Club card and certificates available in Passbook like SPG does, currently lazy implementation should be a real app not a mobile safari page.

Missing functionality

No ability to add card to Passbook on iPhone. Have to re-login each time - doesnt even remember username.

So weak

You will spend all your time logging into this app constantly. A pen and paper is better designed and more efficient. I am a loyal fairmont guy, but the app is a waste. Fairmont team, if you outsourced this dev project....get your $ back

App architecture so bad I couldnt complete order

Around and around I go. Click promotions then click check availability then click book. Anticipation grows with my forthcoming booking, but oops, it sends me back to date selection page and asks me to select dates (which I have already done; I think twice) Suggestion: take out all the "stuff" no one cares about and just make a clean interface that is easy to use and syncs with passbook. I finally gave up trying to book over the app and had to call the hotline. As an aside, the lady on the phone had no ideas what promotions were available and had to check the website herself... But thats another issue Luke
